Tomten Inc. The Tomten Catalog is a mail-order catalog now in its 27th year! It features the best books, music, and gifts our team of buyers can find. Not only do they import unique items from Scandinavia that you won’t find elsewhere, but they also scout out the best children’s books and music, not to mention popular titles for all ages, from over 200 publishers in the USA! The Tomten Catalog is a 24 page, full-color catalog that comes out in autumn each year. Skandisk Inc. Publisher? Wholesaler? Mail-order catalog company? Take your pick! Skandisk, Inc. is all of the above. Actually, Skandisk is a collection of seven dedicated employees (all female except the owner), who work out of an office/warehouse complex in Bloomington, Minnesota, to bring you the best books and gifts we can find. A complete catalog of all items we distribute is updated in February of each year.

Mike Sevig, our fearless leader (i.e. the owner of the company) works hard to see that our inventory is maintained and our customers receive the best service possible. What keeps him going? Late night workouts at the gym, dark chocolate, red wine, and peanuts. Else Sevig, Mike’s wife, is busy with product development. She stays in touch with the folks in her native Norway (Else hails from Kristiansand) while working on our calendars and other unique Scandinavian items. Being a Norwegian, Else is naturally a coffee drinker. She also joins Mike at the club!

Mike, Mari (Mike's Daughter), and Sarah make up the dedicated sales team that calls on our retail customers nationwide, keeping them informed of new items and providing the best customer service possible. They also exhibit our products at gift shows across the country (click here for our Skandisk Show Schedule). This is the team that handles all Tomten Catalog orders and inquiries.

Mary O. makes sure all of our bills get paid in a timely manner. Shannon runs the warehouse with an iron fist, and is responsible for getting your orders picked, packed, and shipped within 24 hours.

Mike, Else, and Lisa scout out new inventory items and handle all of the ordering for both Skandisk, Inc. and The Tomten Catalog.  The Tomten Catalog, the Skandisk Catalog, the Web Page, and other publications are designed and produced by Lisa (with lots of help from everyone else).
